The DB2 Database Administrator (DB2 DBA) is a critical member of the technical team responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting enterprise database systems. DB2 Database Administrator - Summary- Serve as a DB2 DBA, managing and optimizing complex database environments within a government agency.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of critical database systems supporting agency operations.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DB2 Database Administrator in production environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in DB2 performance tuning, SQL optimization, and advanced troubleshooting.
- Significant experience working in AWS cloud environments and supporting Red Hat Linux systems.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including architecture and operational support.
- Proficient in developing and maintaining automation scripts with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative team player who communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
