Database Administrator (DBA) - Summary- Support critical data management efforts in healthcare settings
- Ensure the accuracy, security, and reliability of EHR system data
- Utilize SQL and reporting tools to resolve data integrity issues
- Contribute to public health initiatives through meticulous data stewardship
- Retrieve, analyze, and correct data within electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain high data quality standards
- Develop and execute SQL queries to identify and resolve data integrity concerns
- Conduct routine audits on benefit assignments, insurance relationships, and patient visit statuses to ensure data accuracy and compliance
- Correct billing and coding inaccuracies to support accurate healthcare billing and regulatory compliance
- Document and refine data entry processes, supporting the development of standard operating procedures for ongoing data management

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working with EHR systems, with preference for MyInsight by Netsmart
- Proficient in SQL for complex data querying and reporting
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with healthcare data cleanup and auditing workflows
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
- Proactive in identifying and resolving data issues within EHR systems
