Data Warehouse Developer (ETL/SQL) - Summary
As a Data Warehouse Developer (ETL/SQL), you will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining enterprise-level data warehouse solutions. This includes designing data marts, creating and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines, and developing complex SQL queries to support high-quality business intelligence and analytics. By collaborating with teams such as data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence, you will ensure the seamless integration of data from diverse sources, enabling actionable insights for organizational growth and efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise data warehouse architectures and data marts that support current and future business requirements.
- Develop, implement, and optimize ETL/ELT processes for integrating data from multiple, disparate source systems into the data warehouse.
- Create and maintain both dimensional and relational data models, including the design of star and snowflake schemas to facilitate efficient data retrieval.
- Write, tune, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database views for data transformation, cleansing, and aggregation purposes.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, business intelligence developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality reporting and analytics solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all data warehouse solutions.
- Utilize Informatica tools, including IDMC CDI and CAI, for the development and maintenance of integration workflows.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouse environments to maintain high system availability and performance.
- Document data models, processes, and technical specifications to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data warehousing, ETL, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Warehouse Developer, Data Engineer, or similar data-focused position.
- Strong expertise with Informatica development, particularly IDMC CDI and CAI modules.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and experience creating dimensional models (star and snowflake schemas).
- Hands-on experience building data pipelines using various data integration methods and ETL/ELT tools.
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as AWS, and a deep understanding of modern data warehousing principles and performance optimization strategies.
