Data Quality Engineer - Summary
- Responsible for validating and ensuring the integrity of data within cloud systems, with a focus on supporting accurate data-driven decision-making processes.
- Works extensively with SQL, data modeling, and automation frameworks to streamline and optimize data quality assurance protocols.
- Collaborates with business partners and cross-functional teams to support user acceptance testing and resolve complex data issues efficiently.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Validate and monitor data systems in cloud environments, focusing on identifying and resolving data quality concerns.
- Troubleshoot and improve data processing procedures, ensuring data flows efficiently and accurately through the organization.
- Conduct end-to-end testing of use cases, from initial data reception to final journey activation, ensuring seamless data operations.
- Develop and maintain dashboards for tracking quality assurance progress and monitoring testing outcomes.
- Design, build, and manage automation scripts to support recurring data validation routines, increasing efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by partnering with business stakeholders to guarantee that data meets business requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
- Leverage knowledge of APIs, particularly with Salesforce Data Cloud or Salesforce Marketing Cloud, to facilitate comprehensive API testing as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering, with a primary focus on maintaining high data quality standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in SQL for querying, validating, and analyzing complex data sets.
- Experience with test automation frameworks, scripting, and CI/CD integration tools.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing principles, and best practices in data management.
- Experience with API testing, particularly with Salesforce Data Cloud or Salesforce Marketing Cloud, is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
