The Data Modeler will work closely with business and technical teams to lead data modeling activities, supporting the implementation of new analytical data platforms and enterprise data lakes. You will be responsible for designing and developing conceptual, logical, and physical data models using industry-standard tools such as ERWIN. Your expertise will help define scalable data structures and modeling standards, ensuring efficient and robust data architectures that meet evolving business needs. Your role will be integral to the success of projects in the insurance domain, particularly those involving commercial property and policy data.
In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements related to commercial property and policy data domains, translating these needs into effective data models. You will support the design and development of data lakes within a Microsoft Fabric / Azure environment, ensuring data accessibility, quality, and security. Your experience in the P&C Insurance domain, especially within policy, underwriting, claims, and billing, will be highly valued as you help shape the organization’s analytical data platforms and enterprise data initiatives.

Data Modeler - Summary- Lead and support data modeling activities for commercial projects in the insurance and analytics industry.
- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models using ERWIN.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to define scalable data structures and standards.
- Support enterprise data lake development within a Microsoft Fabric / Azure cloud environment.

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in data modeling and data analytics.
- Extensive experience with ERWIN data modeling tools.
- Background in P&C Insurance domain, with expertise in policy and commercial property business areas.
- Experience supporting insurance data domains, including policy, underwriting, claims, or billing.
- Proven track record in supporting analytical data platforms and enterprise data lake initiatives.
- Expertise in designing and developing scalable data models using ERWIN.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and business teams.
- In-depth understanding of insurance industry data domains, especially policy and commercial property.
- Experience working with Microsoft Fabric / Azure environments.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused approach to data modeling challenges.
