Data Engineer (Snowflake) - Summary- Serve as technical lead and primary administrator for Snowflake data warehousing platforms.
- Design, implement, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for seamless data ingestion.
- Ensure high platform uptime, security, and compliance with federal standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in periodic onsite meetings.
- Support vendor communication and manage software updates and patches.
- Administer and optimize Snowflake environments for stability and performance.
- Develop, test, and deploy ETL/ELT pipelines to transfer data from transactional systems to Snowflake.
- Monitor and maintain platform uptime, responding proactively to incidents and outages.
- Lead vendor escalations, tracking and communicating software patches and version updates to stakeholders.
- Work closely with data architects, analysts, and business users to meet evolving data needs.
- Ensure strict compliance with FTI and CJIS background checks and security protocols.
- Participate in regular team meetings both remotely and onsite as needed.

- Active Snowflake Certification required.
- Proven experience as a Snowflake platform administrator and lead data engineer.
- Expertise in designing and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines for Snowflake environments.
- Ability to pass FTI and CJIS background checks for secure government/public sector work.
- Strong understanding of platform availability, vendor management, and escalation protocols.
- Detail-oriented data professional with a passion for cloud data engineering.
