Data Engineer (GCP) - Summary
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other teams to ensure efficient data flow and integration across multiple GCP services.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for data engineering, ensuring data quality, governance, and security in all solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance data pipelines using GCP tools such as BigQuery and Dataflow.

- Utilize advanced SQL and scripting skills to automate data processing and transformation tasks.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and validation processes to ensure the integrity of all data moving through the platform.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and Dataflow.
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- At least 5 years of experience with shell scripting and Python for data automation and transformation.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record in gathering, understanding, and translating business requirements into scalable data solutions.
