You should have over ten years of experience in data engineering or business intelligence development, with extensive hands-on expertise in SQL, including complex query development, SSIS, and performance tuning. Familiarity with data lake and data lakehouse architectures—particularly Delta Lake—and building data pipelines using Databricks and Spark is essential. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and/or Scala, along with knowledge of Azure cloud services such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake, will help you thrive in this environment.
