Data Engineer - Summary
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support data analytics, dashboards, and AI-driven solutions.
- Work cross-functionally to integrate data from both on-premises systems and cloud environments into Snowflake.
- Implement data quality checks and maintain comprehensive documentation to align with data governance standards.
- Automate data workflows using Python or similar scripting languages to increase operational efficiency.
- Ensure the performance, reliability, and integrity of data utilized throughout the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical data solutions.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Fivetran and custom processes for seamless data movement.
- Design and execute SQL-based transformations within Snowflake for improved data performance and integrity.
- Integrate data from a variety of structured and unstructured sources, ensuring compatibility and scalability.
- Establish and maintain standards for data governance, including security, privacy, and compliance protocols.
- Document data flows, structures, and transformation logic to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to quickly resolve issues and minimize disruptions.
