Data Center Project Manager - Summary
- Lead hyperscale data center projects from inception to completion, ensuring operational excellence and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Act as the primary point of contact between various stakeholders, including facilities, technical teams, and executive management, to maintain alignment and project progress.
- Utilize advanced project management methodologies to oversee scheduling, production controls, and risk assessment, ensuring all initiatives adhere to organizational standards and industry best practices.
- Work in a collaborative environment that values initiative, innovation, and continuous improvement in data center operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain comprehensive project controls, including the ongoing monitoring and reporting of production schedules directly to the program manager.
- Implement effective risk mitigation strategies, proactively resolving project issues and removing obstacles to ensure project continuity.
- Support facilities operations by tracking and reporting operational issues, collaborating closely with the facilities team to drive timely resolutions.
- Coordinate all activities related to data center rack build-outs and oversee inventory management processes to support project delivery requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to onsite schedules, demonstrating flexibility by working varied shifts as project needs demand.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication between stakeholders, providing detailed updates, reports, and analysis to inform decision-making processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices and operational workflows within the data center environment.

- Demonstrated experience in project management within hyperscale or large-scale data center environments.
- Proven track record of supporting facilities operations, including issue tracking and operational problem resolution.
- Strong communication, organizational, and reporting skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work scheduled shifts and adapt to evolving project timelines and requirements, including overtime as needed.
- Ability to work onsite daily, contributing actively to project execution and operational success.
