Data Center Construction Project Manager - Summary- Lead and support advanced data center construction projects, overseeing all phases from planning to turnover.
- Collaborate with engineering firms, consultants, and contractors to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, driving alignment and communication across teams.
- Travel up to 50% of the time, with frequent onsite presence required.
- Oversee engineering, design, construction, commissioning, and project turnover for data center projects.
- Lead due diligence, feasibility studies, and master/campus planning efforts for multi-phase programs.
- Provide constructability feedback on electrical and mechanical systems for scalable, reliable solutions.
- Apply technical expertise in mission-critical infrastructure including switchgear, generators, chillers, AHUs, fire protection, controls, and security systems.
- Guide clients through technical decisions and delivery strategies to maximize reliability and efficiency.
- Monitor project progress, manage integrated master schedules, and deliver executive-level reporting on key metrics.
- Coordinate utility engagement, procurement, infrastructure upgrades, and project integration.
- Manage project budgets, cost controls, invoicing, and change order resolution using Procore.
- Promote and enforce safety standards throughout project execution.
- Mentor project team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
