Data Architect - Summary
- Guide the transformation of analytics infrastructure from on-premises data warehouses to modern cloud-based platforms.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise on migrating analytics infrastructure to the cloud.
- Participate in the design and development of scalable data solutions that meet evolving business needs.
- Advise on data architecture patterns including data warehousing, data lakes, and data modeling (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external technology vendors to align data solutions with organizational objectives.
- Implement robust processes for integrating data from online transaction databases and other sources.
- Contribute to the enhancement of analytics capabilities utilizing platforms such as AWS, Azure, Power BI, SAS, and Snowflake.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data architecture best practices, ETL/ELT processes, and emerging cloud technologies.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience with data warehouse, data lake, and analytics implementations.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and multi-layered data architecture patterns (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
- Practical experience integrating with online transaction databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure, is preferred.
- Proficiency with analytics tools and platforms such as Power BI, SAS, and Snowflake.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
