Data Analyst positions are critical in modern organizations, especially those with a focus on data security, privacy, and compliance. This opportunity offers the chance to join a leading company that emphasizes the value of advanced data governance tools and strategies to enhance enterprise security posture. As a Data Analyst, you will work within the IT and data management industry, contributing your expertise to bolster the organization's overall security framework and support compliance initiatives.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive data risk discovery, analysis, validation, and reporting in alignment with the enterprise Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) program. You will operate and administer cutting-edge platforms such as Microsoft Purview and Cyera, ensuring the efficacy of monitoring scans, validating findings, and meticulously documenting configurations and runbooks. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you assess sensitive data exposure, oversharing, retention challenges, and risky access patterns across multiple data sources. From your findings, you will generate prioritized remediation recommendations to strengthen the organization's data governance posture.

The Data Analyst is also tasked with designing, testing, implementing, and documenting Purview policies and controls, including sensitivity labels, auto-labeling, data loss prevention (DLP), and related governance workflows. Fine-tuning these rules to improve accuracy and reduce false positives is a key component of this role. In addition, you will serve as a trusted advisor, responding to data protection and compliance inquiries from business and IT teams, facilitating the intake of data needs, and coordinating remediation strategies in collaboration with data owners and platform teams.

To excel in this Data Analyst role, candidates should possess experience with M365 security and compliance tooling, as well as DSPM platforms. Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential, as is the capability to bridge the gap between technical controls and business data requirements. Familiarity with monitoring scans, validating findings, and documenting processes is critical, alongside experience in designing and refining data governance policies and controls. These qualifications ensure that the Data Analyst will be well-equipped to address the complex and evolving landscape of data security and compliance.

This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits, including medical, vision, and dental coverage. Employees have access to additional perks such as an Employee Stock Ownership Program and the support of a dedicated Engagement Manager to foster professional success. The company is recognized as an industry leader, with a longstanding reputation for excellence and multiple awards for outstanding service in staffing and talent management.
