Cybersecurity Engineer (SSH, CISSP, SSCP) - Summary
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of an enterprise SSH key management program

Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage SSH key management programs, overseeing key generation, distribution, and revocation
- Develop and maintain comprehensive policies, procedures, and standards for SSH key operations
- Integrate SSH key management into existing infrastructure by collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Monitor, report on, and optimize SSH key management system performance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry standards
- Troubleshoot SSH connectivity and authentication issues, and provide technical incident response
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including procedures and diagrams
- Analyze SSH key management metrics and deliver findings to stakeholders

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of related work experience, including 2+ years in cybersecurity and 2+ years in IT infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of SSH protocols (SSHv1, SSHv2, OpenSSH) and public/private key infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with key management systems (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, AWS KMS, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments
- Solid understanding of networking, application, and operating system security concepts
- Experience with Python scripting for automation and security tooling
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Certifications: SSCP and/or CISSP
