Cybersecurity Engineer (CISSP, SSCP) - Summary
- Develops and manages next-generation security solutions across enterprise systems and subsidiaries.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Researches, evaluates, and recommends technical security solutions for enterprise-wide implementation.
- Coordinates with product vendors and service providers to support technical security processes.
- Manages system/application environments, configurations, and operational activities for security solutions.
- Monitors, reports on, and optimizes performance of technical security systems.
- Provides incident response and problem management for security technologies, including troubleshooting and remediation.
- Ensures timely completion of security work requests, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders.
- Supports escalations, known issues, and out-of-cycle requests for multiple security solutions.
- Develops and maintains operational documentation, including procedures and engineering diagrams.
- Collects, analyzes, and presents data on security solutions to peers, leadership, and stakeholders.
- Assists with migration, upgrades, and disposal of complex security technologies, evaluating associated risks.
- Collaborates on business initiatives to deliver security enhancements across the enterprise.
- Develops and implements continuous testing and gap analysis processes for security hardening.
- Aligns with security reference architecture standards and published blueprints.
- Contributes to disaster recovery planning, design, and exercises for security solutions.
- Supports remediation activities following threat/vulnerability assessments or audits.
- Provides training on security capabilities, operational processes, and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of related work experience, with at least 2 years in cybersecurity and 2 years in information technology infrastructure.
- Industry certifications required: SSCP or CISSP.
- Experience with security solutions such as CyberArk, Delinea, Symantec PAM, Microsoft Entra PIM, AWS Identity Center, and Directory Services (AD, Oracle, ForgeRock).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking and security controls for network, application, and operating systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot security issues and familiarity with vulnerability and patch management.
- Strong documentation, analytical, and administrative skills.
- Ability to work independently, maintain a positive attitude, and display strong teamwork and communication abilities.
