Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support for Microsoft security technologies, including Defender and Sentinel, ensuring optimal configuration and monitoring.
- Implement and manage vulnerability management processes, including identification, remediation tracking, and reporting.
- Support rollout of data protection controls with Purview and Varonis to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with cybersecurity operations and engineering teams to validate security tooling and identify configuration gaps.
- Ensure comprehensive alerting and telemetry coverage to maintain continuous security compliance.
- Assist with migration validation efforts for security hardening and improvement projects.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents in alignment with established protocols and standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NIST 800-171 and other relevant cybersecurity frameworks to guide security operations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and related Microsoft security tools.
- 5+ years of experience managing Entra ID, Intune, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and identity/security operations.
- At least 4 years in vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
- Demonstrated experience with data loss prevention (DLP) tools such as Purview and Varonis.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with security operations, including familiarity with NIST 800-171 standards.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze complex security issues and recommend effective solutions.
