Our Operating Room is a fast-paced, high-volume environment, specializing in intricate surgical interventions. The CVOR Surgical Technologist will be responsible for ensuring that all procedures are conducted under optimal sterile conditions, contributing to positive patient outcomes. As part of our surgical team, you will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other allied health professionals. Experience with Epic EHR is essential, as accurate and timely documentation is critical to our operations. On-call participation is a core requirement, ensuring our commitment to providing 24/7 care. CVOR Surgical Technologist - Summary
- Full-time position supporting complex open-heart, thoracic, vascular, orthopedic, and general surgeries

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide expert support for high-acuity cardiovascular and multi-specialty surgical procedures, including open-heart, thoracic, and vascular surgeries
- Rotate through diverse surgical services, including orthopedic and general medical cases, adapting quickly to different procedural requirements
- Utilize Epic EHR for comprehensive intraoperative documentation, surgical counts, and patient record-keeping
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control policies and aseptic techniques throughout all procedures
- Support surgeons and nursing staff by anticipating instrument and supply needs during surgeries
- Participate actively in departmental on-call rotation, ensuring 24/7 OR coverage and rapid response capabilities
- Contribute to a team-oriented environment by collaborating effectively with all members of the surgical team

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room environment with demonstrated expertise in open-heart surgery
- Proficient use of Epic EHR for surgical documentation and patient record management
- In-depth knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including rotating weekends and holidays
- Commitment to participate in the on-call rotation as required by the department
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to patient care
