CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) - Summary- Key member of the cardiovascular operating room team.
- Responsible for direct patient care during heart and thoracic surgical cases.
- Utilize advanced surgical technologies, including the DaVinci XI robotic system.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile operating environment for cardiovascular procedures.
- Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during complex heart and thoracic surgeries.
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced surgical instrumentation and robotics.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care during the perioperative phases.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond swiftly to any intraoperative changes.
- Communicate effectively with surgical teams to anticipate needs and prevent complications.

- Minimum of 3 years of cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) experience required.
- Prior acute care hospital experience essential.
- Proficiency with DaVinci XI robotic system is mandatory.
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Demonstrates advanced clinical knowledge in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical care.
- Exhibits proficiency with surgical robotics and technology integration.
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Adaptable and calm under pressure, with excellent critical thinking skills.
