Customer Service Representative – Insurance Job OverviewMichael Grant – State Farm Agency is seeking a dedicated and energetic Customer Service Representative – Insurance to join our full-time team in Charlotte, NC. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional client support and are interested in developing a rewarding career within the insurance industry. As a key member of our front office team, you will have the opportunity to provide meaningful assistance to customers while contributing to the ongoing success of our agency.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and nurture customer relationships, ensuring a positive and ongoing client experience through proactive communication and timely follow-ups.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by addressing inquiries related to insurance products, policy availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, policy transfers, claim submissions, and billing questions.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based approach to guide customers through their insurance options, helping them make informed decisions that best meet their needs.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving daily success by maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.
- Previous experience in customer service is required, preferably within the insurance, sales, retail, or telemarketing sectors.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally through written, verbal, and listening channels.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and relate to customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Property & Casualty insurance license and Life & Health insurance license are required, or must be obtained within a specified time frame after hiring.
