Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Insurance Summary
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing guidance and solutions related to their insurance needs.
- Participate in comprehensive training to develop expertise in insurance products, customer service protocols, and compliance requirements.
- Support the agency’s growth by building strong client relationships and facilitating positive customer experiences.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain customer relationships, proactively following up as needed to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, addressing inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients about insurance coverage options and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and total commitment to achieving daily and long-term success for the agency.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports and updates to the agent, maintaining transparency and accountability.
- Remain current with product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education.
