Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and professionally greet clients, ensuring a welcoming and positive first impression.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by following up with clients as necessary to address their insurance needs.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, policy changes, billing clarification, claims submissions, and coverage options.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients about available insurance products and assist them in selecting options that best suit their needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience and maintain high service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience preferred, ideally in an insurance or financial services environment.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Self-motivated and proactive in problem-solving, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Ability to assess client needs and conduct effective interviews to determine appropriate insurance solutions.
- Ability to relate well to a diverse customer base and adapt communication style as needed.
- Property & Casualty license and Life & Health license are required (must be able to obtain if not already held).
