Customer Service Representative (CSR) - Summary
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding insurance questions and service needs
- Support daily operations within the agency by providing high-quality customer assistance
- Demonstrate a strong customer focus while helping maintain and enhance policyholder satisfaction
- Contribute to the agency’s reputation for excellent service and support
Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and greet clients in a courteous, professional manner
- Establish and maintain customer relationships by following up as needed
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly service regarding insurance availability, eligibility, policy changes, transfers, claims submissions, and billing clarification
- Use a needs-based review process to educate customers about available insurance options and help identify products that suit their needs
- Document all client interactions thoroughly and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Collaborate with agency team members to resolve customer concerns efficiently
- Assist with policy renewals, endorsements, and general account maintenance

Qualifications & Requirements
- Preferred: Experience in customer service, inside/outside sales, retail, or telemarketing
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution
- Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients
- Willingness and ability to obtain Property & Casualty license
- Willingness and ability to obtain Life & Health license
