The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a pivotal member of an insurance agency team, responsible for providing outstanding service and support to clients in all aspects of their insurance needs. Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture ongoing relationships with customers, ensuring consistent and effective communication to address individual needs and concerns.
- Respond promptly and accurately to all customer inquiries related to insurance products, policy changes, billing, claims processes, eligibility, and coverage options.
- Educate clients on available insurance options using a customer-focused, needs-based approach to ensure they understand their policies and potential coverage solutions.
- Assist new and existing policyholders with policy changes, renewals, claims submissions, and clarifications of billing statements.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional customer service on a daily basis.
- Utilize internal systems to document customer interactions, policy updates, and follow-up actions in an organized and timely manner.
- Support the agency team in achieving business growth objectives through value-driven conversations and positive customer engagement.
- Remain current with all product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and ongoing continuing education as required by the agency and regulatory bodies.
- Provide thorough and timely activity reports to agency management, maintaining transparency and accountability in all client interactions.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment, actively participating in team meetings, training sessions, and performance improvement initiatives.
