We are seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team on a full-time basis in Creve Coeur, MO. As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will play a key role in supporting a well-established State Farm agency, delivering exceptional service to clients and helping to enhance the overall insurance customer experience. This position provides the opportunity to interact directly with customers, addressing their insurance needs, answering questions, and building lasting relationships, all while working in a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone or in-person, providing accurate and friendly service as a Customer Service Representative (CSR).
- Greet clients and establish positive customer relationships, ensuring follow-up and ongoing support as needed.
- Address questions related to insurance products, including availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing matters.
- Conduct needs-based reviews with customers to thoroughly educate them about their insurance options and recommend suitable products and services.
- Utilize effective communication and active listening skills to understand customer motivations and concerns.
- Work collaboratively with team members to resolve customer issues and deliver a seamless customer service experience.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of customer interactions and follow-up actions in accordance with company procedures.
Qualifications
- Prior customer service or sales experience preferred; relevant experience may include positions such as inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and relate effectively to customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving and addressing customer needs.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with both customers and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to assess customer needs through effective interviewing and needs analysis.
- Must be able to obtain a Property and Casualty license as well as a Life and Health license, as required by state regulations for Customer Service Representative (CSR) roles in the insurance industry.
