Customer Service Representative Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and proactive Customer Service Representative to join our team as a full-time member, supporting an established State Farm independent contractor agent. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer support and value-based service, helping clients understand their insurance options while ensuring a positive customer experience. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial part in fostering client relationships, responding to inquiries, and maintaining a high standard of service within a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities- Establish and nurture customer relationships through regular communication and follow-up to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries regarding insurance products, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing questions.
- Utilize a needs-based review process to educate customers about a variety of insurance options, ensuring they receive the information that best fits their circumstances.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and a consistent commitment to achieving daily and long-term goals.
- Work collaboratively with the agent and other team members to support business growth through outstanding service delivery.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports to the agent as required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including both verbal and written abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and resolving problems as they arise.
- Ability to learn and effectively use computer functions relevant to the role.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, including staying current with product changes and technical developments.
- Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain as part of employment requirements).
- Life and Health license (or willingness to obtain as part of employment requirements).
