Customer Service Representative - Summary
- Engage with clients as the face and voice of the agency, providing a welcoming and professional experience.
- Support agency operations by handling inquiries, policy changes, and client communications with accuracy and care.
- Promote trust and satisfaction by delivering prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly service to every customer interaction.
- Contribute to the team’s mission of enhancing the State Farm Insurance customer experience in Ephrata, PA through attentive service and support.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and greet clients in person with professionalism and courtesy.
- Establish and nurture customer relationships, following up as needed to ensure satisfaction.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, policy coverages, changes, transfers, claims submissions, and billing clarifications.
- Utilize a needs-based approach to educate clients about suitable insurance solutions and options.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service and support across all agency functions.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with agency and industry standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous sales experience (inside sales, outside sales, retail, or telemarketing) is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional communication skills in written, verbal, and listening formats.
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are preferred.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and customer needs assessment.
