Customer Service Representative - Summary
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their questions and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster positive relationships with clients to promote retention and satisfaction.
- Leverage your insurance knowledge to provide accurate and clear information on policy coverage, eligibility, claims, and billing.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and greet clients, creating a welcoming and professional first impression.
- Establish and maintain long-term client relationships through consistent follow-up and attentive service.
- Respond promptly to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarifications.
- Conduct needs-based reviews to educate customers about insurance options, helping them make informed decisions.
- Support the agency's sales and service objectives by addressing customer needs and identifying opportunities for additional coverage.
- Document client interactions and follow up as necessary, ensuring accuracy in records and communications.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior sales or customer service experience (such as retail sales, inside sales, outside sales, or telemarketing) is preferred but not required.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Able to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Strong ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews to determine appropriate insurance solutions.
- Ability to build rapport and relate to customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Active Property & Casualty license and Life & Health license required.
