Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and greet clients in a courteous and professional manner
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, following up as needed to ensure satisfaction
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing questions
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients about available insurance options and recommend suitable solutions
- Assist clients in navigating policy adjustments and support claim processing to ensure seamless experiences
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and supportive work environment focused on shared goals
- Adhere to agency policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current on State Farm products, services, and industry best practices

Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior experience in sales (including outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing) is preferred but not required
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Strong aptitude for assessing customer needs and conducting thorough interviews
- Ability to build rapport and effectively relate to clients from diverse backgrounds
- Must be able to obtain a Property & Casualty insurance license within 90 days of hire
- Must be able to obtain a Life & Health insurance license within 90 days of hire
- Successful completion of a background check is required
