Customer Service Representative - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture leads by scheduling appointments and conducting needs assessments with potential and existing clients.
- Engage in value-based conversations to recommend appropriate insurance products and services.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring timely follow-up and consistent communication.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service for all inquiries, including insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarifications.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and agency goals.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and documentation in compliance with company standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous insurance sales experience, Property & Casualty, and Life/Health licenses are preferred but not required.
- Background in sales (outside sales, inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to listen and relate effectively to customers.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and a proactive work ethic.
- Strong multitasking abilities and organizational skills.
- Willingness and ability to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses if not already licensed.
