As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality service and fostering positive relationships with our clients. Working as an Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Mountain Home, AR, you will be responsible for supporting the agency’s service and retention efforts for a well-established State Farm Agent. You will serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their questions are answered and their needs are met promptly and professionally. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about helping others and committed to enhancing the customer experience within the insurance field.
Responsibilities- Respond to incoming phone calls and greet clients warmly, creating a welcoming environment for every customer interaction.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by following up with clients and addressing their insurance needs as they arise.
- Deliver accurate, prompt, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, policy transfers, claim submissions, and billing details.
- Engage in customer-focused, needs-based conversations to educate clients about available insurance options and help them make informed decisions.
- Assist with the review of client policies to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Previous experience in sales or customer service (such as inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening abilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews to understand and address concerns.
- Ability to relate to customers in a professional and supportive manner.
- Willingness and ability to obtain Property & Casualty license and Life & Health license as required by the agency and state regulations.
