Customer Service and Billing Specialist - Summary
- Support a busy insurance agency by handling client service and billing operations.
- Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and account management.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet clients, answer phone calls, and respond to emails to address client inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Manage schedules, coordinate appointments, and ensure the availability of office supplies to support efficient operations.
- Prepare and process insurance forms, maintain up-to-date client files, and verify that all paperwork is completed accurately and securely filed.
- Enter and update client information in the agency management system, maintaining precision in all data entry tasks.
- Handle all billing-related inquiries, process incoming payments, and follow up on overdue accounts in a courteous and effective manner.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and agents, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the client journey.
- Assist with organizing marketing events, preparing promotional materials, and managing the agency’s social media presence to support outreach efforts.
- Provide preliminary assistance to clients during the claims process, ensuring that required documentation is collected and that communication with claims adjusters is timely and clear.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be able to obtain the FL 4-40 Customer Representative License (or equivalent as required).
- Demonstrated knowledge of Citizens and EasyLink platforms is required.
- Previous experience in the insurance industry is preferred, particularly with State Farm or similar agencies.
- Prior administrative or customer service experience, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with agency management software is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
