SmartAC is seeking a dedicated Customer Onboarding Specialist to join our Customer Success team. Customer Onboarding Specialist - Summary
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new contractor onboarding, guiding them from contract signature through product launch and ongoing optimization.
- Facilitate the adoption of SmartAC's platform, helping contractors drive new member acquisition and retention through strategic implementation and training.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and contractor stakeholders to ensure a seamless onboarding process and continued partnership success.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive onboarding for contractors, ensuring they are "ready-to-launch" and fully equipped to use SmartAC's solutions.
- Design and deliver tailored, role-based training for contractor owners, managers, customer service representatives, and technicians both remotely and onsite.
- Conduct detailed product training sessions, strategic planning meetings, and change management workshops to align contractor teams with membership-based business models.
- Create clear and accessible learning materials, making SmartAC's platform and strategies easy to understand and implement for contractor partners.
- Collaborate with contractors to analyze their baseline performance metrics and develop realistic growth strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
- Guide contractors through platform setup, system integration, and deployment, ensuring alignment with their market and business objectives.
- Maintain ongoing partnerships by providing follow-up training, support, and optimization recommendations post-launch.
- Gather and relay feedback from contractors to internal teams, driving continuous improvement in the onboarding process and supporting product innovation.
- Travel as needed (30-50% of the time) to deliver high-impact, in-person training and support contractor teams onsite.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in training, implementation, customer enablement, or consulting roles.
- Proven ability to deliver engaging presentations and communicate complex ideas in clear, accessible language.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Advanced computer literacy and a demonstrated ability to learn new software platforms quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with business owners and management teams in a consultative capacity.
- Patience, active listening skills, and a genuine passion for enabling the success of others.
- Experience in the trade industries (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.), understanding of membership programs or recurring revenue models, and familiarity with field service software are preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
