As a CT Technologist / X-Ray Technologist, your primary responsibility will be to perform diagnostic CT and X-Ray imaging studies in accordance with established clinical protocols and safety standards. You will ensure patient comfort and safety, operate imaging equipment with precision, and collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic results. CT Technologist / X-Ray Technologist (CT Tech / X-Ray Tech) - Summary
- Perform high-quality CT and X-Ray imaging procedures for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Utilize advanced imaging technology in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners and X-Ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images as ordered by physicians.
- Position patients correctly to achieve optimal imaging results while minimizing exposure to radiation.
- Review and verify physician orders and patient identification prior to imaging procedures.
- Explain procedures to patients and answer any questions to alleviate concerns.
- Monitor patients during and after imaging procedures for any adverse reactions or complications.
- Document imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure imaging equipment is regularly maintained, calibrated, and functioning properly.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Collaborate with radiologists to review imaging results and assist in diagnostic processes as needed.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with advances in imaging technology and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) or eligible to obtain.
- Valid state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist, if required.
- Minimum of one year experience in CT and X-Ray imaging preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training may be considered.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and quality assurance standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
