CT Technologist (CT/X-ray Tech, ARRT) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging studies according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after imaging procedures.
- Administer IV contrast media as required for specific imaging studies.
- Assist with advanced interventional procedures under the supervision of radiologists.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging data and procedural documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring readiness and compliance with safety standards.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in the field.
- Follow all facility policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current and valid ARRT certification for radiologic technologists.
- State licensure as required for CT Technologist (CT/X-ray Tech, ARRT) positions.
- At least one year of CT experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with IV and contrast administration.
- Strong technical proficiency and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
