As a CT Technologist (CT Tech, ARRT-CT), you will utilize your expertise in diagnostic imaging to perform CT and X-Ray scans for a range of patients, including those in emergency and inpatient settings. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) and X-Ray equipment to perform diagnostic scans, including portable imaging procedures as required.
- Support the imaging needs of emergency departments and inpatient units, managing an average caseload of 15-20 cases per day.
- Administer contrast agents safely and effectively under the supervision of a physician when necessary.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures by providing high-quality imaging and technical support.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process by adhering to established protocols and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of procedures, including patient records and imaging logs.
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards, including infection control, radiation safety, and quality assurance guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CT) certification must be obtained within two years if not already held.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or equivalent provider.
- Active Virginia Radiologic Technologist license or eligibility to apply prior to hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT and X-Ray imaging preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and in high-acuity clinical settings.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
