Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Review and verify physicians’ orders and patient identification to ensure correct procedures are performed.
- Monitor patients during procedures, recognizing and responding to any adverse reactions or emergencies.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, scan results, and any relevant clinical observations.
- Practice radiation safety measures to minimize exposure for patients, staff, and self.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care.
- Adhere to departmental policies, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT) or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Valid state licensure, if required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Strong technical skills in CT imaging and familiarity with imaging protocols.
