The CT Technologist (Computed Tomography, Radiologic Technologist, ARRT) plays a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services across multiple modalities, including CT, X-Ray, Mammography, Bone Density, and Ultrasound. This full-time position is ideal for dedicated healthcare professionals who are committed to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and operational leadership. Working in an inclusive and supportive environment, the CT Technologist serves as a key point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive experience and accurate results while contributing to the overall effectiveness of the imaging department.

In this essential healthcare role, the CT Technologist is responsible for performing a diverse range of diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on safety, efficiency, and adherence to established protocols. The ability to operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging equipment is crucial, as is the skill to process and transmit images accurately to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). The CT Technologist also participates actively in quality assurance, compliance, and inventory management efforts, ensuring that all procedures and documentation meet both state and federal regulatory requirements.

Leadership capabilities are integral to this position, as the CT Technologist may be called upon to oversee departmental operations and support staff in the absence of the department Manager or Director. This includes managing schedules for various imaging sub-departments and helping to guide colleagues in best practices for patient care and imaging protocols. By maintaining a collaborative and organized workflow, the CT Technologist helps foster a positive work environment and ensures the consistent delivery of top-tier medical imaging services.

This role is well-suited for professionals who have completed an accredited program through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and hold valid state licensure and a fluoroscopy permit, as required. National certification in at least two imaging modalities, such as ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography), is expected, along with an active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience in acute clinical radiography is preferred, and strong technical skills in computer systems and imaging software are necessary for success.
