CT Technologist (Computed Tomography, Rad Tech) - Summary
- Perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
- Work as an essential member of the radiology department, collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other technologists.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners and related equipment to perform diagnostic imaging examinations following established protocols.
- Position patients correctly for each scan, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging.
- Review and verify physicians' orders, prepare patients for procedures, and explain the process to alleviate concerns or anxieties.
- Monitor patients during scanning, recognizing and responding promptly to any complications or emergencies.
- Process and analyze images for quality assurance before submitting them to radiologists for interpretation.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance logs.
- Follow strict guidelines for radiation safety and infection control to protect patients, staff, and oneself.
- Participate in ongoing education, training, and quality assurance initiatives within the department.
