The facility is transitioning from Cerner to Epic in late 2026, ensuring ongoing improvements in clinical documentation and workflow. CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective anesthesia care for diverse outpatient surgical cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, plastics, neurosurgery (head & spine), urology, ophthalmology, podiatry, endoscopy, EP, bronchoscopy, vascular (non-open heart), and ECT support
- Perform anesthesia services independently, ensuring all patient safety and quality standards are met
- Maintain and manage airway, ventilation, and hemodynamic parameters during procedures
- Utilize advanced skills such as spinal anesthesia and arterial line placement as needed
- Document all anesthesia-related care in the EMR system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate effectively with surgical, nursing, and support staff to optimize perioperative workflow
- Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives as required
- No on-call, after-hours, or weekend coverage required
- No OB or open heart/cardiac cases included in the assignment

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current NBCRNA certification required
- Active license or eligibility to practice as a CRNA (IMLC accepted)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Prior experience in outpatient or surgical anesthesia settings preferred
- Strong clinical skills in airway management, regional anesthesia, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Proficiency with EMR systems; experience with Cerner or Epic a plus
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a multidisciplinary care team
