The Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) - APP plays a vital role in the multi-specialty medical-surgical intensive care unit (ICU). This advanced practice provider is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a high-acuity environment. The position offers flexible scheduling options, including 7a-7p shifts and the possibility of 7 days on/7 days off, making it ideal for candidates seeking a dynamic and rewarding clinical practice. Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) - APP Summary- Advanced practice provider role in a high-acuity, multi-specialty ICU setting

- Opportunity to provide comprehensive care for a census of 10-15 ICU patients per provider

- Perform and document History & Physicals, Consultations, Event/Follow-up Notes, and Procedure Notes using Cerner EMR
- Interpret diagnostic tests and communicate results effectively to the care team
- Engage in regular communication with ICU nursing staff to coordinate patient care
- Participate in daily multi-disciplinary rounds to ensure holistic patient management
- Perform invasive procedures, including central venous line (CVL), vascath, introducer, and arterial line insertions
- Ensure thorough and accurate documentation of all clinical activities
