The Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), also known as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients in a multi-specialty intensive care unit (ICU). This full-time, nocturnist position is an excellent opportunity for experienced critical care APPs who are passionate about providing advanced clinical care in a dynamic, high-acuity hospital environment. The role centers on working collaboratively with attending physicians and ICU nursing teams to ensure comprehensive patient management during nighttime hours. As a Critical Care NP or PA in this position, you will be part of a team that manages a census of 10-15 ICU patients per provider. The hospital utilizes Cerner EMR, and you will be expected to document patient encounters thoroughly and accurately.
