Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) - Summary
- Provide comprehensive care in the intensive care unit to a diverse population of critically ill patients.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage life-sustaining interventions for patients with medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurological conditions.
- Monitor and titrate vasoactive medications and drips, and manage patients on mechanical ventilation.
- Conduct continuous hemodynamic monitoring and interpret advanced clinical data to guide interventions.
- Recognize subtle changes in patient status and implement rapid response protocols as needed.
- Collaborate with intensivists, specialists, and other healthcare providers to implement complex care plans.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families about critical illness, treatments, and expected outcomes as appropriate.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing clinical education.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of one (1) year recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Critical Care setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
