Credit Analyst - Summary- Full-time Credit Analyst position in Houston, TX

- Manage receivables by conducting risk assessments for credit policy exceptions
- Monitor account status and coordinate activities to support customer credit and collections policies
- Review files, reports, credit bureau documents, and customer financial statements to verify deposit requirements
- Extend credit to customers in accordance with company policy and terms
- Analyze customer financial situations to determine if credit can be extended beyond established criteria
- Implement and execute programs for follow-up and collection of accounts receivable
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders as necessary
- Ensure all actions are compliant with applicable credit policies and regulations

- Minimum of 6 months credit and collections experience
- Familiarity with credit policies and regulations; knowledge of Public Utility Commission (PUC) regulations is a plus
- Experience with reviewing contractual documents
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel
- Ability to handle challenging customer interactions and review financial statements or credit reports
- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong analytical skills
