As a Corporate Tax Manager (CPA), you will play a pivotal role in the Corporate Tax Solutions practice by managing client engagements from inception to completion, ensuring a high standard of quality and adherence to regulatory requirements. Corporate Tax Manager (CPA) - Summary
- Lead and manage multiple client engagements in corporate tax planning, compliance, and ASC 740 income tax accounting
- Oversee the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and related filings
- Mentor, train, and evaluate tax associates and senior associates
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality tax solutions
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, federal, state, and local tax laws
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end client engagements, including planning, executing, and overseeing all aspects of tax projects
- Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns, providing guidance on technical tax issues and professional development
- Review tax returns prepared by staff, ensuring accuracy and maximizing tax savings opportunities
- Conduct ASC 740 income tax provision engagements and support audits as needed
- Research complex tax issues, consult with clients, and utilize tax software for efficient tax return processing
- Respond to inquiries from IRS, state, and other tax authorities
- Maintain strong client relationships and collaborate with client management teams to gather information and perform tax services
- Gain a deep understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives to tailor tax strategies
- Attend ongoing professional development and training sessions to stay abreast of industry changes
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and maintain strict client confidentiality

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- Active CPA license or JD/active law license required
- Minimum 4-7 years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience
- Experience in public accounting preferred
- Strong expertise in corporate income tax and ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes
- Proficiency in US GAAP, corporate income tax laws, and regulations
- Working knowledge of broad-based statutory income tax compliance, including state and local taxes, international tax matters, and transfer pricing
- Exceptional analytical, technical, and communication skills
- Experience with OneSource Tax Provision preferred
- Willingness to travel as needed
