Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook sauces and other food products in large commercial kettles by carefully following batch requirements and standardized recipes.
- Ensure accurate measurement and handling of ingredients, with close attention to detail to guarantee consistency and food safety.
- Lift and move ingredient bags weighing up to 50 lbs, using electric or manual pallet jacks as needed to transport products and materials throughout the kitchen or warehouse.
- Properly label all bags and containers with clearly defined ingredient information, ensuring compliance with established protocols and regulatory standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following all sanitation and hygiene guidelines for commercial food production.
- Collaborate with team members and kitchen supervisors to meet daily production targets and maintain efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operation, to ensure a safe and productive workplace.
- Participate in on-the-job training sessions to further develop culinary and operational skills, preparing for future advancement within the culinary field.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to lift and move ingredient bags weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Basic knowledge of measurements and ingredient handling; comprehensive training will be provided for all new hires.
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food production environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with electric or manual pallet jacks and experience with forklifts is considered a plus.
