Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook sauces in large commercial kettles, following detailed batch requirements and recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Accurately measure and prepare ingredients as required for each batch, adhering to strict food safety and quality guidelines.
- Properly label all ingredient bags with specific product details to ensure traceability and compliance with food industry standards.
- Safely move and transport ingredients and finished products using electric or manual pallet jacks, with weights ranging from 10 lbs to 50 lbs.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment at all times, following company and regulatory protocols for food safety.
- Support senior kitchen staff and management in various food preparation and production tasks as assigned.
- Collaborate closely with team members to meet production schedules and achieve daily targets.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow by participating actively in on-the-job training and skill development sessions.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs to handle ingredients and supplies in a commercial kitchen setting.
- Basic understanding of measurements is required; additional training will be provided on the job.
- Experience operating electric or manual pallet jacks is preferred; familiarity with forklifts is a plus.
- Previous culinary training or experience, including sous chef roles, is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when labeling ingredients and following recipes.
- Ability to work scheduled shifts, including second shift hours as assigned by management.
- Reliable attendance during standard workweek hours, Monday through Friday.
- Commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
