Cook - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook sauces in large commercial kettles according to batch requirements
- Accurately measure and handle ingredients, both by weight and volume
- Ensure all ingredient bags are clearly labeled with the correct information for each batch
- Utilize electric or manual pallet jacks to transport ingredient bags weighing up to 50 lbs, with some packages ranging between 10 lbs to 30 lbs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Follow established recipes and standard operating procedures to ensure product consistency
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
- Assist with proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and kitchen staff regarding batch requirements and any issues that arise
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance needs as necessary
