Controls Engineer - Summary
- Lead system commissioning and loop checks for a large-scale automation project.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting of electrical and control systems on the plant floor.
- Utilize expertise with Rockwell automation platforms, including ControlLogix (PlantPAx) and FactoryTalk View (FTView).
- Provide engineering support and collaborate with project management to ensure project milestones are met on schedule.
- Work onsite, with project-related travel and living expenses reimbursed at cost.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive loop checks and system commissioning according to project specifications and safety standards.
- Execute basic I/O electrical troubleshooting and resolve hardware or field instrument issues as they arise.
- Deliver onsite engineering support for Rockwell automation systems, ensuring seamless integration and reliable operation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment with project schedules and deliverables.
- Maintain accurate documentation of commissioning activities, troubleshooting steps, and engineering solutions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization during project execution.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls or automation engineering.
- Proficiency with Rockwell Software Stack, especially ControlLogix (PlantPAx) and FactoryTalk View (FTView).
- Demonstrated hands-on skills in loop checking and troubleshooting of hardware or field instruments.
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including day and evening schedules as necessary for project execution.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
