Control Panel Assembler - Summary
As a Control Panel Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and wiring complex control panels according to detailed schematics and technical drawings. You will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized panel shop, and you may also assist with warehouse duties, including inventory management and material handling, to support overall production. Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire control panels based on engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
- Perform thorough inspections and quality checks to ensure each panel meets company and client specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the panel shop at all times.
- Support warehouse operations as needed, including receiving materials, tracking inventory, and staging components for production.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical or mechanical issues encountered during assembly or testing.
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Utilize warehouse or inventory management systems to monitor parts and supplies.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and warehouse teams to resolve technical issues and meet production schedules.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of control panel assembly experience preferred, though not required.
- OSHA 10 Certification required, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- EPA 608 Type II Certification required, or ability to obtain as a condition of employment.
- Forklift Certification required, or willingness to complete training.
- DOT Medical Certificate required, or ability to obtain.
- Basic computer proficiency is necessary for documentation and inventory tracking.
- Experience with warehouse or inventory management systems is preferred.
- Working knowledge of electrical wiring and mechanical assembly required.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams preferred.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and components is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills essential to success in this role.
