Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, negotiate, and manage provider and vendor partnerships with a focus on maximizing value and operational efficiency.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring successful implementation and long-term partnership management in accordance with organizational goals and healthcare regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to inform negotiation strategies and support data-driven decisions.
- Initiate and oversee financial analyses and operational reporting for assigned contracts, including vendor and provider agreements.
- Monitor and track the financial and operational performance of key partnerships, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Recommend and implement corrective action plans or contract amendments, collaborating closely with health plans and internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate and lead meetings with health plans, corporate stakeholders, and executive leadership to review contract performance, scorecards, and strategic partnership updates.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in vendor and/or provider contract negotiations, contract analysis, or financial modeling within healthcare or a related industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven track record in negotiating fee-for-service and value-based contracts with large hospital systems, including ancillary, professional, and behavioral health services.
- Experience in negotiating and managing contracts for Medicare and Medicaid lines of business.
- Strong communication skills to effectively support external stakeholders regarding contract terms, pricing, and information requests.
- Experience with Salesforce for entering and managing contract data.
- Ability to conduct and interpret low-spend analyses and rate analyses to support business decision-making.
